99-Year-Old Veteran Knits For Soldiers Abroad

The oldest female World War II veteran living in New York state is still helping other soldiers fighting in current wars – even at 99 years of age.

Jeanne B. Champ, a resident of the Hultquist Assisted Living Center, is knitting caps for military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan to wear under their helmets.
