Back in April the craft publisher Annie’s made its first foray into seasonal pattern collections with Summer Love, curated by lead designer Lena Skvagerson.
They’ve decided to do it again, with the Autumn Bliss collection launching today. You can see the lookbook just for knitting here. (I love that giant circular scarf in the picture above.)
The fall collection features more than 40 knit and crochet designs from some of the industry’s top designers and covers just about everything you’d want to knit and wear in the fall and beyond including ponchos, sweaters, cowls, hats and more.
“Through my own experience and personal sense of style, I gather inspiration from all that I see around me,” Skvagerson said in a news release. “I intuitively know what will attract a wide audience of people with a variety of tastes and aesthetics. I can see how a collection of pieces can fit into a woman’s wardrobe without being fussy or complicated, but rather clean and minimal. The designs I envision are timeless, just like my own sense of style.”
The idea of the collection is that the pieces be timeless and practical rather than trendy, so you can knit them and wear them for years to come.
I’m excited about this collection and am sure there are a few things in it I’ll really want to knit.
Anything catch your eye? I’d love to hear about it.
