THE CRAFTGOSSIP BLOG NETWORK

Warm Woolies is a non-profit organization whose volunteers knit warm clothing for poverty-stricken children who would otherwise suffer from cold. Our mission is to provide the very neediest children with wool sweaters, vests, hats, mittens, and socks.

In 2008, they are knitting for children living in orphanages in Russia, Kazakhstan, China and Mongolia and on the Rosebud and Pine Ridge tribal reservations in South Dakota.

They have set a goal of 7000 pieces for the year, so if you think you can help stop by their website for all the details.
