hat garland vintage umbellaI know a lot of people get kind of sad when it’s time to take the holiday decorations down. The house seems so plain without all the glitter and lights, and it’s just compounded by the fact that it’s dreary outside.

If you want to bring a little something special to your decor for the rest of the winter, check out this cute garland of little white and brown hats and mittens put together by Jenn at the Vintage Umbrella.

She used a pattern from Ravelry for a knit advent calendar garland, and worked all the hats and mittens from her stash of light-colored yarn. They’re attached to a white and brown I-cord with clothespins. How cute is that?
