Free Pattern: Hot Sunset Socks

DROPS hot sunsetSocks area a great knitting project for summer because they’re small, portable, light (in weight and amount of yarn covering your body while you work) projects you can take with you wherever you happen to be going.

The good people at DROPS Design know this, and they’re offering a new design, Hot Sunset, a colorful pattern that’s just challenging enough to keep your interest.

The allover colorwork includes corrugated ribbing on the entire back and sole of the sock, as well as the toe, and a lacy diamond pattern on the front of the leg and foot. It uses a solid black and a multicolored yarn to create lots of impact without a lot of work.
