You can still enter our active giveaways.
I love a lot of things about the Internet, but one thing that is really cool is how easy it is for independent designers to get their patterns to the masses, either by selling individual patterns or producing online and/or printed pattern collections.
Erica Jackofsky recently released Mythos, a pattern collection containing seven lacy shawl patterns inspired by mythology and originally designed for special colorways of her own hand-dyed yarn. The patterns are pretty and have great stories behind them, which is always extra fun. (Read more in my wee writeup over at About.)
This week Erica has given me the opportunity to give one of the patterns to one of my readers. So to enter I’d love it if you checked out the projects (you can see them all on Ravelry) and let me know which pattern you’d most like to knit. Respond before the end of the day Sunday to enter.
I’ll pick a winner at random and make sure the answer you gave was your final one, then Erica will send a PDF of the project for you to knit. Fun!

I like most of them but the Underworld caught my eye.
Merriment is stunning (and so is the name!) but a close second is solar flare.
I like the Harvest Shawlette pattern.
Allure is beautiful, with the added bonus of being knit sideways.
