Things are getting just a little crazy in my life right now. It’s about six weeks until my book is due to the publisher, and I still have a lot of work to do, plus an almost-five-year-old who’ll be home for a couple of weeks in the middle of it.
So, if you’re expecting a giveaway book from me, I’ll try to get caught up this week, but things are going to stay busy for a little while. I promise I’ll try to keep up.
This time in the process means I’m at home a lot, sitting on my couch, watching “Orange is the New Black” (I just have one episode left!) and knitting. And, frankly, thinking I ought to have more knit things around me in my house.
That’s where Knits at Home by Ruth Cross comes in (I reviewed the British release of this book, which was titled The Knitted Home.) It’s a super inspiring book that begins with the basics — little sachet bags worked in simple stitch patterns — and moves on to chunky cabled throws, framing swatches on the wall, pretty pillows, cushions, window shades and more.
I have one copy of this book to give away this week. For your chance to win, leave a comment on this post before the end of the day Sunday, July 20, and I’ll pick a winner at random.
Since I’m almost out of Netflix, why don’t you tell me something you’ve watched lately that you enjoyed?
Thanks for visiting, commenting and sharing, and good luck!
