Congrats to Kittenwithawhiplash and Ummraina for winning this week!

This week I have two copies of a book that I really enjoyed: Metropolitan Knits by Melissa Wehrle. The 20 projects in this collection were inspired by different aspects of life in New York City, but these sleek, modern pieces would be at home in any metropolitan area or beyond.

For a chance to win one of these beauties, leave a comment on this post before the end of the day Sunday, Feb. 16.

Why don’t you tell me what your favorite city is that you’ve visited? I have a soft spot for Chicago since it was the first big city I ever visited, but I love Boston, too.

Good luck and thanks for visiting!

Oh gosh — what a hard question! Okay, here goes:
In Canada, my favourite city would be Montreal which used to be advertised in the New Yorker magazine as Friendly, Familiar, Foreign yet near!!!
Stateside it would have to be Savannah — especially in the heat of the summer when the atmosphere of of the 1800s feels so prevalent.
I have less experience abroad, but I loved the old capital of Japan: Kyoto

But still … other places come to mind … small villages in beautiful settings! However I will stop now, with hopes of winning that book!
