Congrats to Linda and Pat for winning this giveaway!
This is the time of year for knitting sweaters, and between this month’s 30 Day Sweater project and next month NaKniSweMo, there are a lot of opportunities to give yourself a little encouragement whether you’ve never knit a sweater before or just need a new one for the season.
To give new sweater knitters even more incentive, this week I’m giving away two copies of My First Cardigan Workbook by Georgia Druen. This book has four cardigan patterns for babies and four for adults, and all of the patterns are done in worksheet form. Just find the size you need, fill in the blanks and you’re ready to go.
Another good thing about this book for new sweater knitters is that the projects are top down, so there’s minimal finishing, which can certainly take some of the intimidation out.
To be in the running for one of these books, leave a comment on this post between now and the end of the day next Sunday, Nov. 3 (can you believe it?). I’d love to know about your sweater knitting experience, if any. Tell me about the best — or worst! — sweater you ever knit, or why you’d like to start knitting sweaters if you haven’t already.
I’ll pick two winners next week so you’ll have plenty of time to knit your sweaters in November, or whenever you like.
