Giveaway: The Yarn-a-Long Bracelet

yarnalong bracelet giveawaySummer is prime time for knitting on the go, and this week’s giveaway will let one lucky person do just that. The Yarn-a-long Bracelet from Rock Farms, which I reviewed over on About, is a metal and bead bracelet that carries your yarn for you so you can knit while walking around.

If you ask me, this is not a good product for someone who has wrist problems, which I do, which is why I’m giving it away. It’s a lovely product, and it may actually work better on a belt loop than around a wrist for someone who does have wrist pain. I found the weight of holding the yarn from my wrist to be uncomfortable, but you may not have the same problem.

To enter to win this prize, which has green beads just like the one in the picture, leave a comment on this post before the end of the day Sunday, June 30. If you want, tell me where you wish you were taking your knitting this summer. Or where you’re actually taking it if you have a fun vacation planned. (I am longing to take mine back to New England, but I think we’re actually planning a Gulf Coast vacation for the fall.)

That yarn, by the way, is not included, but I might throw in something fun; we’ll just have to see!

Good luck and thanks for visiting!

I don’t think we will manage a holiday this year, instead we will have days out and I will have to find the excuse for not being the driver, any ideas???

Thank you for the giveaway! It’s very generous. I am entering this contest not for myself but for a friend that is disabled who finds that her knitting helps to take her mind off of her pain.

This would be great I have tried walking around knitting with a plastic bag on my arm but just did not work very well.

Hi, sorry you can’t use it. When I saw it I didn’t even think that it might be a problem for people with a wrist problem. Thank you for the giveaway and the chance to take my yarn where ever I go on the run.

Not sure about walking around with yarn,,,,But sitting down using it, will keep the ball of yarn from hitting the floor. The cat is great for the rip offof yarn stitch rings and so on, :D

Thank you for the giveaway! I’m still learning to knit but I’d take it with me anywhere! With this bracelet I can actually see taking it to starbucks with me, my husband and I love to go there and relax as we enjoy some tea.

I would love to take my knitting to England, but the most interesting place it will be going is to my aunt’s house in town.

Vacation is done, but this is great for the walk to pick up my son from school and waiting for him to come out.

I don’t have vacation money set aside this year so may be able to take day trips and always have knitting or crocheting with me.

Hmm – I wonder if this would allow me to knit while chasing after a toddler?! We took our big vacation in Feb (Florida) but we’ll do an extended weekend camping later this summer

this is a nifty gadget! while we are only going to some local swimming spots, this would be a great way to be able to keep my knitting yarn in check while wrangling 3 kids. Thanks for the great giveaways.

Thank you for the give away. I would like to try this to see if prevents yarn balls from rolling around. I have lots of problems of them getting away from me.
