yarnalong bracelet giveawaySummer is prime time for knitting on the go, and this week’s giveaway will let one lucky person do just that. The Yarn-a-long Bracelet from Rock Farms, which I reviewed over on About, is a metal and bead bracelet that carries your yarn for you so you can knit while walking around.

If you ask me, this is not a good product for someone who has wrist problems, which I do, which is why I’m giving it away. It’s a lovely product, and it may actually work better on a belt loop than around a wrist for someone who does have wrist pain. I found the weight of holding the yarn from my wrist to be uncomfortable, but you may not have the same problem.

To enter to win this prize, which has green beads just like the one in the picture, leave a comment on this post before the end of the day Sunday, June 30. If you want, tell me where you wish you were taking your knitting this summer. Or where you’re actually taking it if you have a fun vacation planned. (I am longing to take mine back to New England, but I think we’re actually planning a Gulf Coast vacation for the fall.)

That yarn, by the way, is not included, but I might throw in something fun; we’ll just have to see!

Good luck and thanks for visiting!

My knitting has been going everywhere with me lately. To work, to the doctor’s office, to the local ATT office(’cause you have to wait so-o-o long to get waited on), to church, to dinner, the wine bar, and at red lights. It’s fun seeing the expressions on faces as they realize what you are doing. It’s also a great conversation starter and I’ve met some interesting people along the way.

Did you try to hook it to your belt loop? That is an interesting thought. One I would like to try when I win. LOL

Not sure where we’re going on vacation yet as it’s still the middle of winter here in Australia and we’re planning a spring break. Somewhere interstate probably (would love if it was overseas!), maybe somewhere with lots of beaches. :)

  49. Karen @ Crafty Commons on June 25, 2013 4:01 pm

For the first time in years, we don’t really have a vacation planned. However, we are planning to take my granddaughter to the Omaha Zoo sometime this summer. That requires an out of state trip and overnight stay – maybe 2 nights! Does that count? :) I love this idea though!
