sprout cardigan classic eliteI love it when patterns I find online actually use yarns that I know and have liked working with.

In the case of the Sprout Cardigan from Classic Elite Yarns, it’s Sprout, an organic cotton yarn that’s got a lot of texture and is really soft and nice to work with. You might be a little surprised that it’s cotton, in fact.

This cardigan, by Susan Mills, has short sleeves and a big shawl collar to make a big impact. The fronts and the collars are worked sideways in garter stitch, so you know this is going to be a great, quick project you’ll be enjoying before the weather gets too hot!
