Knitted Ferrari as College Student Thesis

When you are an art student, I guess the smart thing to do is present your thesis in a tangible format, instead of reams of paper bound with a GBC binding. I worked as a secretary to an individual obtaining his doctorate, and let me tell you, this would have been more fun than all the typing and proof-reading I did!

But this must be the most unusual Thesis in the world! Lauren Porter knitted a Ferrari as her thesis to obtain her degree from Bath Spa University, with 12 miles of yarn and help from her family. Her thesis has been on display around Europe and she is getting unusual knitting commissions as a result.

Good Job Lauren for calling attention to knitting as something more than some old ladies sitting in rocking chairs!
