I have a few funny knitting related things to share this week, so I thought I would put them all together in one post for when you need a laugh or a smile.
First, this past week was Wool Week in Britain, which is a week devoted to celebrating the wonderful qualities of wool and innovative uses for the fiber. To celebrate, the Campaign for Wool produced three new videos, one of which shows adorable baby sheep talking about the fire-resistant properties of wool and thinking about becoming movie stars. It’s pretty cute, actually.
Second, I think I’ve seen this one before but it bears repeating since KniCroManiac shared it on her Tumblr. The work of Jorge Pérez Higuerahas called The Other Side explores what Stormtroopers do on their day off. For some it includes fiber arts: And finally, while Trevor Noah was getting ready to take over “The Daily Show,” he did a few promo videos, including one in which he explains his passion for knitting. (Spoiler alert: it involves a toaster oven.)
