This knitting news is all over the press as 65 year old Mr perkins aims to knit 1000 hats for community groups.

So what has got everyone’s attention? Is it the 1000 hats? them being knitted by a man ? or the fact he is using it to beat his cigarette addiction?

It’s doesn’t really matter I guess as knitting in the new’s is exciting and this is an article giving it great credability.

You go! I crocheted to Quit. It has been 3 years as of Jan. 7, 2005! All my family members received afghans for Christmas that year. I love to keep my hands busy! Now I am doing knitting as well to lose the weight!
