I got word recently from Kimberly, the sister of knitting podcaster Karrie Steinmetz, better known as Knit Purl Girl, that she’s doing a fundraiser this month to raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation in her sister’s memory.
Karrie died last November and this is her birth month. She had been a blogger since 2008 and also had a podcast and was active in social media. She left behind many crafty friends near and far as well as her family.
Kimberly’s goal is to raise $1,500 for the Epilepsy Foundation, so if you were touched by Karrie’s work I hope you’ll donate as you can.
