Jewelry designer Liana Kabel has a new use for plastic knitting needles - and many other plastics. She turns them into jewelry. I’m not kidding - she uses Tupperware, knitting needles, wire, sterling silver, ceramics - just about anything and creates jewelry!

What a perfect way to recycle old unusable household items. This necklace is made form penne-sized pieces cut from hollow knitting needles.
