Verena! Europe’s Top Knit Magazine

I want to be a model for this magazine! Pretty sure I’d never make a good model for anything, but if you’ve seen where these models get to strut their stuff, you’d want to be one too. But, this is a knitting magazine, not a travel brochure. The designs are fresh and fun. 50+ patterns in every issue.

These patterns feature intricate cables and lace, as well as colorwork and shaping. Perfect for the knitter that wants a challenge, but there are also easier patterns too.

The only problem is, which one to knit first? I’m thinking the cabled hooded vest. Maybe out of handspun…..

I want to knit the cover sleeveless shell(pattern # 37)from the summer 2009 Verena magazine. I have been knitting for decades — but I am unable to figure out the pattern sequence. Knitter is directed to page 50 for charts — not very clear. what is the lace pattern?
