Sometimes shawls feel kind of fancy, but there are definitely some shawls with a more casual look and feel, like this one.
Blue Jean Saturday from O/C Knitinot Designs was originally worked with a denim sock yarn, so it’s perfectly paired with jeans or just about anything else.
It’s worked from side to side in bands of eyelets and Garter Stitch, and you can easily adjust the size to make it bigger or smaller depending on how much yarn you have or how big you want it to be.

We’re a big Studio Ghibli household, and while they are sometimes very protective of their copyrights (as evidenced by the number of patterns on Ravelry that were removed from the service when it received a takedown notice back in 2021), there are still a fair number of Totoro knitting patterns (as well as other designs I’m sure we’ll get to someday). Let’s check them out!
