Maybe it’s because my yarn cupboard is literally overflowing right now, but I’m thinking a lot about stash busting projects.
The Kaleidoscope sweater from Berroco (designed by Margaux Hufnagel) has a colorful circular yoke worked in rainbow colors, but you could also use leftovers in the child’s favorite colors.
It calls for a cotton and rayon blend that’s cool for back to school times, but you could also knit it in wool or whatever fiber you like for little ones.
It’s worked from the top down and comes in kids’ sizes 2-12.
