This time of year is hard for a knitter. Now that it’s at least unofficially and nearly actually fall, we want to knit all the warm, cozy sweaters and fall and winter accessories.
But the weather might not quite have caught up to our wishes when it comes to actually needing those warm knits.
A good compromise might be to knit a sleeveless sweater or shell that you can wear alone now and over a long-sleeved shirt when it gets a little cooler, sort of like a vest.
The Entrall Top from Brome Fields is a lacy sleeveless top worked in a faded color palette.
The lace panels are worked flat separately, then the pieces are joined for smooth sailing in Stockinette in the round for most of the body.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
