I am in love with this traffic scarf (it also has a matching hat and blanket) from Lion Brand that would be perfect for any car-obsessed kiddo.
The Trellis Garter Lace Scarf from Universal yarn (that’s a PDF) is a nice wide scarf with a relatively easy stitch repeat. It’s also presented in text and chart form, so you can use this pattern for practicing reading charts if you don’t already know how.
Want a quick project you can make a bunch of for gifts? Or even just one quick project? Try the Puzzle Scarf from Noble Knits, which uses a chunky, multicolored yarn and size 19 US needles so it works up in no time (they say 30 minutes, which is pretty darn fast for knitting).
The Berroco Mojo Cass Triangle Scarf is another great, simple, quick pattern, worked in a giant yarn in garter stitch. And it has tassels! How festive.
Waterhouse from Berroco is a wide scarf (I’d probably call it a stole) worked in a pretty lace stitch that is not a quick of a project but is certainly beautiful.
The Bobble Edge Scarf – The Bobble Edge Scarf is a unique and playful pattern that is perfect for adding a touch of fun to your wardrobe. The wide basketweave pattern across the body creates a textured and interesting design, while the bobble edging adds a playful touch. The pattern, designed by Tian Foley for Classic Elite Yarns, is easy to follow and would make a great project for knitters of all skill levels
Chevron Lace Shawl or Scarf – The Chevron Lace Shawl or Scarf from Yarnspirations is a beautiful and elegant pattern that is perfect for any fashion-conscious person. This design is not only easy to knit, but it also features a fun and sparkly yarn that adds a touch of glamour to the piece. The chevron lace pattern is easy to follow, making it a great project for knitters of all skill levels. Whether you’re looking for a special gift or just want to treat yourself, this shawl or scarf is the perfect project to add a touch of elegance to your wardrobe
