Just like that, in the span of a week, we’ve gone from lingering winter temperatures to full-on spring. So while I’m still finishing up the sleeves on my last wool sweater of the season, I’m also look ahead to knitting shells, tanks and shawls that will keep me going through the warmer months.
The Arequita Tunic by Susanna IC recently caught my eye and might just end up on my needles soon.
It’s a pretty basic shell worked mostly in Stockinette Stitch, but at the top of the front and back there’s this lovely lace panel that makes it a little more interesting to knit and fancier to wear.
This would be perfect under a little lightweight sweater for spring or on its own with your favorite skirt for summer.
