Just last year I finally started to get into knitting tops for summer. I don’t know why I resisted for so long. I love being able to wear things I made throughout the year, and the right combination of style and yarn makes for really comfy clothes that aren’t too warm for hot temperatures.
The Ciara tank top by Laura Aylor is definitely going on my to-knit list. It’s a bottom up top worked in sportweight yarn, with a slightly flared Stockinette Stitch body and half linen stitch on the bodice.
It’s available in nine sizes and the sample was knit in a silk, linen and wool blend that sounds perfect for summer knitting and wearing.
The pattern is $6 on Ravelry.
