I love the Luxury Holiday Garland project from Kristin Ashbaugh-Helmreich and Jimmy Beans Wool. The idea was to use each of the yarns in the company’s Luxury Fiber Sampler in something that could be used to decorate the home.
The pattern, which is free, is a series of stars attached to a crocheted chain. Using the yarns suggested, it would run you about $50 but would certainly be a little luxury you can enjoy through the winter months. Or use your own coordinating scraps for a funkier, but still beautiful, version.
This project may be going on my list soon. Are you thinking holiday decor knitting yet? I’d love to hear what you’re planning.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
