I’ve lately been loving wearing dresses with sweaters on top. I think it gives me the feeling that it will be the right weather for dresses again but I still get to be warm because I added a sweater.
The Boheme Crop by Annie Lupton is a great little top for just such layering. The lace panel on the front and sleeves curves the edge for a romantic feel that’s further emphasized by the wide sleeves and cropped length.
The rest of the body is worked in a textured stitch pattern so there’s a lot of interest for the knitter throughout the project. The pattern is $8 on Ravelry.

It feels like it’s too early to be thinking about back to school, but as I write this my daughter has just a couple of weeks of summer left! So let’s get in that school and fall knitting spirit by looking at some apple knitting projects.
