A couple years ago I knit my first bralette, and I love them so much for comfort as a bottom layer or as loungewear.
The Trinity Bellwoods Knit Bralette from Patons matches a knit cardigan pattern of theirs, but of course you don’t have to make a matched set.
They both use brioche stitch and twisted ribbing. The bralette has I-cord straps and is worked partly in the round and partly flat. The projects are designed by Katherine Poole-Fournier.
This is a great introduction to brioche if you’ve never knit it before, or if you already have those skills it should be a quick and easy project to get your summer knitting off to a good start.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
