As much as I love the look of dramatic colorwork, brioche and other fancy techniques, the sweaters I go to again and again — for knitting and for wearing — are usually pretty simple in design.
Jumping to the front of the queue is Joji Locatelli’s Pebble Tunic, a simple A-line, boatneck tunic with pockets(!) worked in DK weight yarn
She says she was inspired by a purchased tunic she bought on a trip and ended up wearing every day because it was so comfortable. This looks like just the same sort of thing in knit form.
I love the speckled yarn she chose, but it would look great in a solid, stripes, or any other way you want to knit it.
The pattern is $6.50 on Ravelry.
