A Sweet Baby Blanket Knitting Pattern with Fish

August 30, by Sarah White. Leave a Comment

fish blanket knitting patternWe didn’t really have a theme in my daughter’s nursery, but I know that a lot of people love decorating their little one’s room with matching decor and colors. (I’m a crafter, not a decorator. Weird, I know.)

If I were the sort of person to decorate a baby room, I might have done a nautical theme. We all love the beach and live far from it, so it would have been fun to paint a room blue and decorate with seashells and beach photos.

If I had done such a thing, I maybe also would have wanted to knit the Big Fish Little Fish baby blanket from Sandy Chapman.

The blanket is worked in one color, with the fishes worked in textured stitches. It’s a pretty easy project but does use charts to illustrate the placement of the fish.

The pattern comes in two sizes and is available on Ravelry for £1.95, or about $2.62.
