I love following lots of knitters on Instagram because I see their finished projects and find things I want to knit for myself that I would never see browsing Ravelry.
I have a big collection of saved pictures that allow me to go back and look at the patterns they used, and it often gives you a chance to see a project in a different way.
One that I saved a while back was this version of Lilli Pillli knit by habitualknitter. I love her color combination of a fruity orange, gray and white.
The original was designed by Ambah O’Brien, who used a magenta yarn for the lace sections (thus the name of the pattern, which is an Australian plant with berries of that color).
The pattern is worked on the bias in sections of stripes and lace for a really pretty effect. Get the pattern yourself for $6.
