There’s a big temptation when the weather starts getting a little cool to jump headlong into winter knitting projects, skipping the transitional season altogether.
If you’re looking ahead to knitting for the really cold season, check out the Flurries in the Wind Wrap from Two of Wands.
This giant shawl in winter white combines Garter Stitch and eyelets for a chunky warm wrap that increases the degree of difficulty and the interest in the knitting with both single and double yarn overs and single and double decreases.
It’s worked in Lion Brand Wool-Ease but a 100 percent wool yarn would be a great option, too, and would definitely keep you warm all winter!
