In these weird times its easy to feel separated from family, friends and community. As knitwear designer Joji Locatelli has sheltered in Argentina, she’s been thinking about how we are all connected in the sense of coming together to care for each other by staying home and connecting with each other online.
She also wanted a way to document this time and remember it through a knitting project, so the All Together sweater was born.
It’s a top down sweater with large colorwork motif featuring flowers and the words All Together in script. For the smaller sizes there’s more ease, and the larger sizes have some added motifs to fill in the space around the words (there are eight sizes in all).
The project used a laceweight yarn held with mohair but you can also use a single strand of heavy fingering or sport weight yarn instead.
The project is free on Ravelry.
