Remember last week when I shared with you a bunch of different knitting patterns using candy corn as inspiration? The reason I had candy corn on the brain was because I was working on my own candy corn themed project, a candy corn candy bowl.
The pattern has just been released by CraftBits, so I hope you’ll take a look if you’re in the market for a fun way to store your candy this year.
I used orange, yellow and white medium weight acrylic yarn for mine, knitting candy corn wedges and sewing them together and then to a circularly knit base to form the bowl. It’s pretty sturdy and can hold plenty of candy, though if you’re really storing candy corn in it I think I’d put a regular bowl inside first!
Have you broken out the Halloween decor yet? I’d love to hear what you’re planning this year.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
