A pattern update from Quince & Co. landed in my e-mail box this morning and I kind of can’t stop thinking about it.
The Manaan Cowl (actually cowls, because there are two sizes) is worked in the pretty Lark yarn — a lofty, four-ply, 100 percent American wool yarn — in double basketweave stitch.
That’s the part I’m thinking about, because it’s a stitch pattern that I love; it’s so graphic and pretty, yet I never thought to use it for a cowl.
Now I may just have to.
If you want to try out the pattern for yourself — it was designed by Pam Allen — it’ll run you $6 for a PDF.
