Brioche stitch is one of those knitting techniques that looks hard — and does have a bit of a learning curve to it — but once you get the hang of it, it’s really easy.
It really only takes one project to pick up the basics, and this brioche knit cowl from the Feminine Touch would be a good place to start if you’ve never tried the stitch before or need a refresher.
This project uses two colors, and is worked in the round, both of which up the skill level a bit, but it’s nothing you can’t handle. And the pretty result is definitely worth it.
Have you ever knit brioche stitch? I’d love to hear about it!
