The new season means lots of new knitting patterns to consider, and Brooklyn Tweed has just released its latest pattern collection, Wool People 6. It has 13 patterns, including sweaters, scarves, hats and a cowl, all with the kind of organic, lovely style you’d expect.
Some of my favorites are the gorgeous Treenings Shawl by Andrea Rangel, which is both beautiful and utilitarian (meaning it doesn’t look too precious to use). Ann-Marie Jackson’s Greenwood pullover uses purl ridges for texture and a cowl neck for warmth, while the Rook pullover by Kyoko Nakayoshi uses classic cables on the front and sleeves that practically jump off the garment.
Diana Walla’s Skydottir is a simple circular yoke style you’ll love to knit and to wear. You can view all the projects in the look book linked above or check them out on Ravelry.
Individual patterns are $6.50 or $7 and can be purchased from Brooklyn Tweed. See anything that catches your eye? I’d love to hear about it.
