I’ve gotten a bit off track with talking about sweater knitting this month, but I thought it would be cute to share these little bitty sweaters I saw on Facebook the other day.
The pattern is from Vogue Knitting, and it’s a free download but you have to register first. These are actually done as a little garland, which would be adorable, say, hanging in front of my office window (or, longer, on a little holiday tree) but you could absolutely knit each one and keep them separate to use as ornaments or gift tags (especially if you’re kind of enough to be knitting someone a sweater as a holiday gift).
These are great little projects to use up your odd balls, and they’re rated easy but will give you some practice with skills like stripes and teensy cables.
Looking for more wee clothes for the tree? I have a wee striped vest over at About that you could easily add sleeves to if you like. (The tiny stocking is pretty darn cute, too, though not technically clothing.)
Have you knit any tiny clothes to use for holiday decorations? I’d love to hear about them.
