I don’t even want to think about how soon the holiday season will be here, but if you’re the sort who likes to plan, or just likes free knitting patterns, keep an eye on Knit Picks.
They’re releasing new patterns every week for their 12 Weeks of Giving series, which started last week.
Two patterns have been released so far:
Checkerboard Throw designed by Faith Schmidt
15th Street Wrap by Allison Griffith
They’re both lovely but easy patterns you still have plenty of time to knit for a loved one or yourself. The throw uses a combination of Garter, Seed Stitch and Stockinette for a classic look that’s easy to knit, while the wrap is worked with bulky yarn in a color-blocked design that’s sure to keep you warm and be completed on the double.
I’d kind of like to knit both of them. What about you?
