Speaking of warm things to knit, I recently came across the latest installment of Holla Knits Accessories. This collection includes eight patterns: three hats (one is fair isle crochet, which is super cool), two cowls, two pairs of mitts and a pair of slippers.
I keep being drawn to Ann Weaver’s Phaze II, a multicolored cabled cowl worked with a stranded knitting technique. It sounds kind of fiddly in places but the end result is really striking.
And because I just really need some knit slippers yesterday I’ve also got my eye on the Pom a Rama Slippers by Leah Coccari-Swift. The shape is super simple and they’re meant to be snug to keep your feet warm.
Check out the whole collection at the link at the top. Individual patterns are $4 and can be purchased on Ravelry.
See anything you like? I’d love to hear about it.
