Brioche is a knitting technique that scares a lot of people because it looks super fancy, and the truth is it certainly can be complicated.
Once you get the hang of it, it’s not so bad, but it’s a great idea to start with a small project to gain some confidence.
As wee projects go, you can’t get much cuter than these Easter brioche eggs from Katrin Schubert. Worked with around 50 yards of yarn, they’re great for using up your lovely little bits and will make a fantastic addition to your spring decor.
I haven’t knit any brioche in a while but I might just give it a shot to stitch up a few of these beauties.
What do you think? Have you tried brioche knitting before? I’d love to hear about it!
