Jenni from the Vintage Umbrella shared a fun finished object on her blog: this lovely Fair Isle snowman hat. She got the pattern, designed by Sandra Jäger, on Ravelry, where it’s selling for €3.49 (or a little less than $5 American). Jenni says she has “the best Fair Isle patterns anywhere” and this one was “delightful” to work.
That pattern shows more of a beanie shape as well, with another set of snowmen on the top, but I love Jenni’s stocking cap version as well. So cute!
Do you like to alter knitting patterns, or do you stick to the way they’re written? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
