Combine Knitting and Crochet in One Shawl

March 29, by Sarah White. Leave a Comment

While I knit a lot more than I crochet, I like both crafts and it’s fun to combine them in projects.

Vincent Williams did just that with his Our Hands Shawl, a top-down, triangular shawl that combines different knit and crochet stitches for extra texture and interest.

This is a great way to try out a little crochet if you haven’t done a lot of crochet in the past, and the effect is really nice. Thanks to the eyelets (and the great spring green color of the fabric used in the sample) I’m thinking this would be a perfect shawl to make and use in the spring and summer.

You can grab the pattern on Ravelry for $7.
