I am such a sucker for knit blankets. I love them. I used to think they took too much time or were too big of a project, and I definitely have some that have been on needles for years, but every time I finish one I wish I had more.
Red Heart would like to help build your passion for knit (and crocheted) blankets with their free ebook Snuggle Up. It features 10 knit and crochet blanket patterns perfect for cuddling under.
I love the Great Squares Throw because it’s also super colorful, and because it’s worked in squares you could make it a scrap busting project if you want (and scrap-busting blankets are really my favorite).
See anything you like? I’d love to hear about it!

We’re a big Studio Ghibli household, and while they are sometimes very protective of their copyrights (as evidenced by the number of patterns on Ravelry that were removed from the service when it received a takedown notice back in 2021), there are still a fair number of Totoro knitting patterns (as well as other designs I’m sure we’ll get to someday). Let’s check them out!
