There are lots of knitting patterns out there for knit Easter eggs, but I really like these from Purl Soho. They have a nice egg shape and look to be about the size of real eggs, and the design options are really pretty, too.
Eggs are a great stash busting project because they don’t take a lot of any one kind of yarn, and if your main color is the same or similar on several eggs they will look like they go together even if the colorwork (stripes or duplicate stitch designs) is done in different colors.
Bonus: knitting a bunch of these gives you a great excuse to start an Easter tree if you don’t already have one.
Head to Purl Soho to get the patterns and all the details.
