Earlier this month I told you about the emPOWER People project, which aims to get people to craft purple cowl/bandanas to start a conversation about social justice and to give people something special to wear when they go to protests or vote or do other socially minded things.
Nancy Marchant has released a brioche version of the design, and like the other patterns in the set it’s available for free on Ravelry.
She designed two different brioche patterns you can try for this design, both of which are worked flat but shaped a little differently. They are seamed at the end to give the bandana/cowl look.
I am only seeing this pattern on Ravelry but if someone finds it elsewhere please share!

Specific to knitters, you can join our Knitting Patterns Only group to get, well, knitting patterns, ask questions and gain inspiration for what to knit next.
Check out these books dedicated to Knitted Cowl Patterns still looking for more cowl patterns? Check these out on Etsy.
I feel like I haven’t shared many knitting machine patterns lately, probably because I haven’t been using my knitting machines much lately. (I finally made space for them to live on the bookshelf in my office, and now that they have a “place” it’s almost like I forgot they existed for a while.)
