If you’re looking for a sock pattern to get your fall started on the right foot (sorry), check out this free pattern from Sandra Singh.
The Serendipitous Ewe Triforce Socks by Angela McNamara are mostly stockinette but feature a two-color design that goes into the ribbing and tow, and a two-color triangle design on the heel. Thus the name, I guess.
This is a great relatively easy pattern to work if you’ve never done two-color knitting on a sock. And once you start, you’re sure to want to find more ways to incorporate different colors in your socks.

I just found you today. Thanks for the pretty Green and Yellow Socks, I think I may be actually ready to try that. I’ve not been knitting long, and those of my extended family live 2000 miles away, so I’ve no one to hold my hand. I have found a knit group, but it takes time to feel comfortable and say walk me through this! I saw I missed the Yarn Olympics…sigh… I’ll keep my eye open for the next fun event. Thanks and may your yarn never tangle. TA
