I’ve been a little mitt-obsessed lately. I think that’s because fingerless gloves are something I use all the time when it’s cold outside. And even when it’s not. My hands are cold a lot and I love to have a little something to slip on that still allows me to work at the computer or knit.
These Align Mitts from Pink Brutus Knits are really cute and easy to work. They’re knit in the round from the bottom up and feature a ribbed section on the hand that makes them super-stretchy and ensures a snug fit. They use a small amount of sock yarn, so if you have some left over from a project or just have more sock yarn stash than you can ever possibly work into socks (who, me?) this is a great little project.
I also love the knitter, Courtney’s enthusiasm and excitement about this project, the first mitts she’s knit for herself. Definitely a thing worth getting excited about.
Have you knit anything for yourself lately? Spill it!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
