I’m just getting caught up on some of the great knitting patterns I found when the holidays were getting close that weren’t really holiday related, so now I offer you this pattern from Vickie Howell for an ombre cowl worked in Seed Stitch.
Choose two harmonious colors of her Sheep(ish) yarn and you can stitch up this pretty in no time. The color changing is really easy because two strands are held together throughout. Just start with two strands of one color, change one for the other partway through, and finish off with two strands of the second color. Easy peasy.

I have fallen in love with cowls! Easier to keep up with than a scarf and so warm!
