One of Berroco’s new yarns for fall is Abode, a thick and thin merino that has a fun printed effect that almost makes it look like velvet.
It sounds like a wonderful yarn for fall, and if you’re thinking you might like a new cozy sweater out of this yarn, check out Berroco’s pattern Leatherleaf, which calls for the yarn.
It’s an easy pieced drop-shoulder sweater with a deep ribbed collar (sort of like a turtleneck with a split in it). Personally, I’d make it a little longer, but it sure does look inviting.
Are you thinking about fall knitting yet? I’d love to hear what you’re planning.
