I came across this adorable hat pattern from Yarnspirations a while ago and I think it’s the perfect thing to knit for someone who loves knitting.
The K1, P1 Toque is a pretty simple beanie with a few stripes thrown in for fun and panel of repeating K1, P1 around the head in stranded knitting.
It’s worked in Paton’s Classic Wool but you could easily use some of your worsted weight stash to work up the colorwork sections. The hat is rated intermediate because of the colorwork, but if that’s something you’re comfortable with this hat should be on and off the needles in no time.
Maybe knit up one for your favorite knitting buddy and another for yourself?
What’s still on your knit list this year? I’d love to know what you’re working on!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
