Here in Arkansas, the mornings are already starting to hold a little coolness that reminds us, even though it’s still plenty warm during the day, that fall will be here really soon.
Fall is my favorite, and I really want to knit more sweaters this year.
This cozy long cardigan from Red Heart would be a great choice for knitters new to sweaters or anyone who wants to knit something warm really fast.
It’s rated intermediate but it’s really pretty simple, worked flat and seamed and mostly knit in Stockinette Stitch. There’s not a lot of shaping, and it uses a super bulky yarn, so even though it’s a big project it shouldn’t take that long to knit.
Do you have any sweater patterns on your radar for fall? I’d love to hear about them!
